The Ramona Hillside Players Theater
The Players group began with one-act plays, in 1933 as a fundraiser for the Hemet Woman’s Club. In 1941, the group organized as the Valley Players and continued to use the stage at the Club House and other local venues for their performances. In 1960 they purchased their own building and with the help of the Ramona Pageant Association the building was moved to the permanent home on the property of the Ramona Pageant. The name was then changed to The Ramona Hillside Players.
They continue to entertain the public with comedy, drama, and classics today.
All actors, stage directors, and lighting technicians are volunteers.
